Prince Louis was showered with gifts during the royal family‘s Christmas Day walkabout and had to ask his dad for help.

Prince William, Kate and their three children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, – attended a church service in Sandringham on Christmas Day.

Following the service, the royals stepped out to greet fans who had gathered. The children were given a variety of gifts, including chocolate, flowers and teddies.

Prince Louis asks Prince William for help on Christmas Day

In one moment, Louis was heard asking William, 42, for help as he struggled to carry all his gifts.

The MailOnline reports that Prince Louis appeared to “struggle to keep hold of everything” he had received.

He apparently said to William: “Papa, can you carry some?”

Elsewhere, a royal fan videoed little Louis receiving a gift from them. In the clip, the fan shouted over to Louis about a gift.

As Louis took the gift, he shyly said: “Thank you,” as the crowed gushed.

In another video shared on X, Prince William asked his son: “Did you say thank you?” to which Louis replied: “I said thank you.”

Fans online gushed over Louis and his manners. One person said: “Aw so polite!! William and Catherine are amazing parents.”

Papa, can you carry some?

Another wrote: “Prince Louis is a cute polite young boy. He really did say ‘Thank you.’”

A third added: “Those children knowing that they cannot keep the presents and are still being gracious.”

In another moment on Christmas Day, Prince George came to the rescue as he helped out his little sister Charlotte with the gifts.

In a clip shared by a well wisher on X, a man reached out to shake hands with each of the children. However, Charlotte had her hands full with gifts so couldn’t shake his hand.

She reached out to get dad William’s attention to help her, but he appeared busy talking to another part of the crowd.

However, noticing William was occupied, George stepped in and took the gift from Charlotte so she could shake the man’s hand.

A fan shared the moment online with a video and wrote: “What a nice move there #PrinceGeorge. He saw the man waiting to shake hand with Princess Charlotte but she had things in her hand, she’s nudging her dad but he’s busy so BIG BROTHER to the rescue!”

Another said: “Those children have all be brought up to respect each other and no doubt others too… they’re a credit to Catherine and William.”
